If you value power in your smartphone over everything else, then the iPhone 14 may not be the next-gen phone for you when it likely arrives this September. That’s because Bloomberg (opens in new tab) reporter and usually accurate Apple tipster Mark Gurman has once again claimed that Apple is planning to reserve the rumored new A16 chip for the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro may not be quite the step up from the current generation that fans are hoping for. According to the leaker ShrimpApplePro (opens in new tab), the A16 Bionic chipset set to power the upcoming Pro versions of the iPhone 14 will retain the same 5nm manufacturing process of the A15, rather than moving to 4nm. I went hands-on with Metal: Hellsinger and Tower of Fantasy at the Level Infinite booth at Summer Game Fest.
