And while I championed the consistency of the iPhone experience, I was pretty convinced that I’d end up swapping back to Android in a relatively short time. That’s not because I thought Android would offer me a better experience, just that the hardware from the likes of Samsung, Oppo and Google is just more compelling than iPhones, which have only evolved in small steps over the past few years....

Over the years, I’ve even considered using a monitor exclusively in portrait mode since I’m often writing and editing long documents. When you watch videos online or need to open a spreadsheet though, landscape mode remains your best option. This is because you end up seeing large black bars above and under a video or you have to scroll horizontally to reach distant cells in a spreadsheet. It seems that Android Auto has hit a speed bump. According to 9to5 Google (opens in new tab), the latest update of Android Auto is causing major problems. A trending Google support forum (opens in new tab) thread says that Android Auto 7.8.6 is preventing users of various Android phones from connecting to their car via USB. LG may have made an important breakthrough in OLED technology. Apple itself claimed the M2 offered an 18% CPU performance boost and a 35% compared to the M1 chip at WWDC 2022. And the good news is these figures seem to surpass the official estimate. Sony posted a full list of PS Plus games on the official PlayStation blog. All told, the service will relaunch with 105 titles, comprising both first- and third-party fare. The games in question also come from a variety of consoles, including PS1, PSP, PS3, PS4 and PS5. There don’t appear to be any PS Vita or PS2 games, unless you count re-releases or remasters.
